1. interesting interactivity

http://www.bicworld.com/inter_us/lighters/how_is_made/index.asp

this site shows how a mini bic lighter is made. I find it interesting because it engages it's audiance to physical navigate each location of the lighter as it "pulls apart" to show you the details.

2. well designed [overall] site

http://www.360architects.com/

this site is dedicated to a very sophisticated design firm. Their site is staight forward, basic and clean. The site uses good typography as well as photographic imagery.

3. interesting navigation design

http://www.tadcarpenter.com/

I had posted this site before. This is Tad Carpenter's design page. His illustration work is awesome. However, he site work very well. Check out his sketchbook. It's very interactive.

my three sites in category:
1) www.aardman.com
Homesite for Aardman Animation (the Wallace and Grommit people). Made me laugh out loud.

2) www.davidbyrne.com
Name says it all. Talking Heads frontman, with his usual design genius. His journal is a great thing to check in on.

3) http://www.moma.org/exhibitions/2004/tallbuildings/index_f.html
This one is actually in the links list on commandsave.com. I love the way you move through this.

1. Interesting Interactivity

http://snowflakes.barkleyus.com/
http://www.deathonline.net/movies/mm/autopsy.cfm

The snow flake site is just fun creating the cut outs and seeing the outcome. The autopsy site is interesting how you control and move along and kind of do it yourself learning.

2. Well designed

http://www.ernesthemingwaycollection.com/
http://www.photoshoplady.com/

I think these sites are well designed very easy to understand and follow, and really good graphics.

3. Interesting Navigation

http://www.satsu.co.uk/index.php/portfolio
http://www.thethingswemake.co.uk/index.htm

These sites are well done, the portfolio on the satsu design is pretty cool.

#1: www.loureed.com - dynamic page; dig the side nav bar, as well as the image gallery and video page.

#2: www.nytimes.com - a six (!!) column page that contains a lot of information without being difficult to navigate.
